Living a wellness-centred lifestyle
Wellness in and of itself has no value to us until we incorporate its spirit into our everyday lives. When we do so, we can say we are “living a wellness-centred lifestyle”. In a wellness-centred lifestyle, we make choices, develop habits, and practice behaviours, for the purpose of achieving our highest potential. It is a positive approach to daily life, in which we recognize that everything we do, think, feel, and believe has an impact on our wellness.
It implies that we are personally responsible to enrich our physical, social, emotional, environmental, spiritual, financial, and creative functioning.
This last part is important because if we are unwilling to take responsibility and unwilling to make choices and take action toward sustaining or improving our wellness, then we must ask ourselves, “Who will?”
