Do you think this is a worm or hard mucus? Graphic!!

I have IBS, so finding worm-like mucus in my stool is typical for me. This time, I passed what I am convinced is a worm. The tip was solid, opaque and meaty, not stretchy and sticky like mucus. Has anyone passed worms that look like this, or does mucus occasionally have worm-like attributes? Not sure what to do from here - beginning to wonder if my IBS diagnosis is just a parasite infection.
