Eons ago I was dx with Roundworm. I tried treating it several times, but am nearly positive I didn't kill it. Im sure I've been carrying it around for a very long time. Then last year, the dog we adopted had Giardia and we didn't know it immediately. Chances are I could have gotten that too, before she was given a clean bill of health. Giardia wreaks havoc on your digestion and stomach, from what I hear, and mine has definitely gotten worse. Not to mention the fact that my husband, when he was in the military, lived in the most God awful places around the world. I was sick before we met, but it does seem like a lot of my symptoms got worse after meeting him. I've always wondered if he could have passed on one of his exotic parasites to me, as he has lots of stomach/gas issues as well.
