Thank you for your replies! I agree with both replies. I do think that my thrush problem was due to both the acidity of the lemons and the Sugar of the maple. I put up with the enlarged bumps even tho it was annoying at best, knowing that it was not a cause for alarm. I am proud to say that I did finish the entire 40 days of the Master Cleanse, with one day even using a Water Fast to finish off strong :) I experienced such a cleansing and awakening which cannot be compared to anything I have ever done before. Certainly nothing can ever compare to this experience as your focus is totally on your body and its well being. My foremost reason was of a spiritual nature so the spiritual (not religious) awakening I received also cannot be compared to anything experienced outside of fasting.
