Yes, here is the caution:

Urine that has been aged in a closed airtight container should not be used, the concentration of ammonia is too powerful.

Urine should be aged with the top loose or covered with only the plate part of the canning jar top, so the ammonia can gas out. It will still be strong enough to have a medicinal effect.

Aged urine is more potently anti-pathogenic, I've found, for oral use.

The older the better -- but only if allowed to gas out while aging.
