Re: Has anybody here had optic nerve damage related to Mirena?

Holy crap! I thought it was just me! I am 33, and recently diagnosed with the early stages of glaucoma. My doctor was shocked when he saw my digital scan. Most of my optic fibers are gone. I had the Mirena IUD for 5 miserable years. I had it removed 2 years ago and that is when I was diagnosed with glaucoma. I was told that I was extremely young to be having these types of problems. I was also put on thyroid medication in the spring. I had bladder infections all the time, my skin broke out, and my hair fell out. I still don't feel like myself.
