Re: Fast Oxidizers

Hi Jan,

I was with my last Practitioner and she got a little pissy when I asked if I she would still work with me if I don't buy all my supplements throu her. Well that did not go over to well.

Rick Malter:
I was fortunate to have learned about hair mineral analysis directly from Drs. Eck and Watts in the 1980s and into the 1990s. They drew on basic scientific research relating nutrient minerals to the functioning of the nervous system -- sympathetic and parasympathetic -- and the endocrine glands -- primarily the adrenals and the thyroid. They also related the minerals to the stress response and glucose metabolism. Since the minerals reflect the impact of stress -- the fight or flight response, the hair mineral analysis is also a powerful psychological tool as well as a metabolic tool on a physical level. This powerful test shows how the mind/body system is related through the stress response. That's it in a nutshell. Rick Malter, Ph.D. author, "The Strands of Health: A Guide to Understanding Hair Mineral Analysis" http://www.malterinstitute.org.

He uses TEI lab. Trace Element Inc. They do not wash the hair. Watt's started the lab when Eck and Watt's split in the 80's.

I know Rick does not believe in taking vitamin D unless your potassium is high. Through reseach Watt's discover this.
Plus he does not believe high dose of calcum do to calcification and can cause heart disease.

Marie.
