"Depending on your trace mineral levels and ratios, coffee enemas may be contraindicated. While coffee enemas are effective in removing toxic metals from the liver, they also effect the removal of nutrient minerals. For example, if you are a fast metabolizer with low copper, coffee enemas are contraindicated as they would lower calcium, magnesium and copper further. If the four electrolytes calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium are all at low levels, coffee enemas would remove these minerals along with the toxins, thus making your mineral patterns worse. If your toxic levels and ratios are within the safe reference range, coffee enema therapy is not needed."
