Update and Potential Candida Cure

It's been 4 or 5 years since I last posted. I first became sick about 7 years ago, experiencing a gradually worsening feeling of sedation over the period of a year, until I was sleeping 18 hours a day and couldn't keep my eyes opened. During that time I also experienced a kind of progressive dementia, losing my memory, planning skills, and concentration until my mind was basically blank. I also had muscle twitches and fatigue.
After getting many tests done with doctors and everything coming back normal, my first breakthrough was trying grapefruit seed extract. Within 5 minutes of taking it, I was awake again and could actually think. I decided to try caprylic acid as I read that it was a strong natural antifungal; unfortunately my "die-off" reaction to it was so severe that I started having trouble breathing.
I also tried cutting out
Sugar completely from my diet but had the same severe "die-off" reaction. It literally became impossible to continue because I felt like my breathing was being depressed.
Since then, I've been about "half cured" by eating some
Sugar but keeping my candida level stable enough that I don't sleep excessively. My mind has still been foggy and I still had lethargy, even though I was able to be much more active.
By chance I discovered something last week which, miraculously enough, seems to be completely curing me of the candida. I ordered a salad a week ago which had blue cheese crumbles on it. Normally I avoid cheese as it causes a "die off" reaction but I decided to try it since I hadn't in years and since, unlike other cheeses, it's cultured with beneficial fungus and not bacteria.
Within about 30 minutes of eating it, my mind felt clearer than it had in years, my concentration and intelligence came back, and I was able to think about the future again. The lethargy also disappeared and I felt completely normal.
The fogginess and other "die off" symptoms have come back partially since then, as I expected, but my
Sugar cravings finally ended completely and I've been able to go this past week without eating hardly any sugar. This is a huge change as it would normally cause me the severe "die off" reaction I mentioned above.
I bought some blue cheese crumbles from the store and have been eating some every day this past week. My symptoms are still coming and going to a certain degree, but my mind is much clearer over all and I can feel the candida symptoms slowly lessening each day.
I'm hoping that within 6 weeks or so I will be completely back to normal. I will be eating the blue cheese everyday and will see what happens and will provide updates.
I'm not sure if my experience applies to most people on here with candida, but I know there have got to be others who've had similar symptoms. If you think your symptoms are similar, I would recommend starting out with the caprylic acid to see if you have a reaction to it.
I hope this helps someone out there. Obviously I'm still a work in progress but getting to experience feeling normal again after being sick for so long compelled me to write this update. Hope it helps someone.
