Copper and Manganese

Hey all,

I'm trying to get my head around the copper thing..

I'm currently on a track of trying to figure out histamine levels and methylation etc.

Low histamine and high copper are linked. Copper drives down histamine levels.
From the ARL info links i relate very much to being a 'copper head' - even my blonde hair these past 4 years has turned more red..it's quite incredible.
I would get cravings for the darkest chocolate and eat a whole bar at a time just before crashing! Particularly hazlenut and dark chocolate combo :-) (yummmmeeee!)
Have been off all chocolates/stimulants since November however.

Now i'm confused - as low zinc and manganese can indicate high copper.
My hair test showed low zinc (8) and i was advised to take zinc.
However my manganese was off the chart at 0.162.

Would this high managanese reading show that manganese was being released perhaps to try to chelate the excess copper?
(at the time i was also using a deodorant that had manganese in its ingredients - no aluminium but high manganese - doh!)

Also my magnesium was off the chart at 18 - yet my jitters, anxiety, chest pains, aching limbs, constipation etc etc all indicate a need for magnesium.

My copper on the test was 2.5 (perfect level as per their range)

Does this test result seem to indicate biounavailable manganese and magnesium? So would it be wise to supplement an absorbable form?

I'm supplementing with zinc but have felt more jittery, sweaty, mind fogginess etc - copper dumping?

When i have a magnesium bath i tend to feel very nauseous afterwards, despite keeping the temp. warm rather than burning (as i used to like it) - although muscle aches are relieved.

I will get tested on the histamine levels as its impossible to guess these things - just trying to get an idea from my hair test. Seems whatever i do i dump copper/or aluminium and generally feel constant detox symptoms.

how long did it take for any of you with high copper to really make progress so that copper dumping wasn't so severe?

Also, if copper is biounavailable would it be wise to supplement with it or would the body use what it needs whilst it's being dumped?

Sorry for all the questions - thanks in advance for any help with this.
