Re: How I take my black seed each day
I've been buying Blackseed oil from Amazin herbs. I was looking today on the bottle to see if it was made from Egyptian seeds or the Indian but it didn't say. But I found this just now on their site:
"Amazing Herbs Black Seed oil (Black Cumin oil) is freshly cold-pressed (first-pressing) using only the highest quality NON-GMO and organically sourced Nigella Sativa seeds and Guaranteed 100% Pure, Fresh, and Un-Refined. So unlike imported mystery oils, you will be happy know that our oil is fresh and the highest quality available anywhere.
Amazing Herbs Black Seed oil is a valuable source of EFA's 3/6/9, the building blocks of cells that help the body produce Prostaglandin E1. Black Seed oil also contains two very powerful compounds Nigellone, an anti-histamine, and Thymoquinone, an anti-inflammatory. Additionally, analysis and scientific research show that our Black Seed oil contains more than 100 components, including some which still remain unidentifiable, that work synergistically to support the body's various functions.
Amazing Herbs now offers cold-pressed Black Seed oil in Two Types: Original and Egyptian. While the nutritional benefits and chemical composition of both types are identical, our Original Black Seed oil has a spicy and pungent flavor and is pressed from Indian or Turkish seeds, whereas our Egyptian Black Seed oil has a milder flavor. Both are 100% pure and natural and are manufactured to the highest quality standards, free from pesticides, gluten, heavy metals, and
preservatives ."
I will be going with the Egyptian kind next time since my family complains that the Indian, or Turkish, kind tastes like motor oil. It's pretty bad. My mom tasted it the other day and without me saying anything, she said it tasted like motor oil too. I've gotten used to it myself but if the Egyptian kind is just as beneficial, and tastes better, may as well go with that kind.
