Hello Curezone friends. Okay, so you probably ALL know me from my recent dispute with a curezone moderator, but I wanted to formally introduce myself. I am a HAPPILY married housewife from NJ, type II diabetic, who has also been diagnosed with hypertension and high cholesterol : (! Boo-hoo. I was briefly hospitalized in 2005 when my blood pressure spiked uncontrollably, and after a week inpatient, I was discharged with prescriptions for 8 medications! Yes, 8! So, here I was in my early 30s, taking pills usually prescribed for elderly heart patients! After months of taking hundreds of pills, I felt no better. My doctor at the time, actually prescribed AVANDIA, right AFTER the news that it was causing congestive heart failure and KILLING people. When I questioned WHY I wasn't feeling any better and WHY she would recommend a medication that the FDA had deemed dangerous, she just shrugged off my concerns. Needless to say, she has not been my physician for many years now.
I am happy to say that, my hypertension has been well controlled for years, my cholesterol is consistently going down, down, down, as is my blood glucose, which fluctuates, depending on my diet. Now, did I just chuck all the meds at once and assume this super healthy lifestyle? Uuuuh, no. It's been an arduous journey, which has only been eased by my faith and support of my loved ones! And I still have many struggles and battles to stay on the right side of healthy! I am no expert, just someone who truly believes that God has created a cure for every illness, and it's not manufactured by a pharmaceutical company!
I wanted to share exactly HOW I take my black seed each day. I'm not suggesting anyone else do this, but this is how I usually consume the stuff....
I take teaspoon of black seed oil with a spoonful of raw honey or about 4oz. of 100% fruit juice in the morning, depending on my blood glucose. I have to test regularly, and if the
Sugar is high, I will take the black seed oil with just a sip of room temp distilled water. I am used to the strong taste, so it doesn’t bother me. Because I am a diabetic candida can be a problem with me, so we eat a lot of plain yogurt here. After an hour after taking the black seed oil, I will have some plain Greek yogurt.as it's great for those who have candida issues. You can add nuts, my hubby likes almonds. Then, I take my morning concoction. 8oz. of room temp distilled water, a heaping tsp of raw honey, a heaping spoonful of ground whole black seed, ground flax seed, a few tablespoons of ORGANIC, RAW Apple Cider Vinegar, 1000mg of cinnamon (not the store bought kind, but the cassia bark), a good heap of cayenne pepper, and about 1000mg of supplement grade garlic. ALL of these spices promote circulatory and cardiovascular health, the cinnamon, black seed, cayenne, and garlic especially. The black seed and cinnamon also lower blood glucose, and garlic, cayenne, apple cider vinegar, all help fight candida. So, I gulp this down in the morning. It’s STRONG DRINK and because we use very good herbs and spices, it’s even stronger! I also take a teaspoon of the black seed in the evening, and last night I chased it down with a shot of 100% cranberry juice and slept like a baby!
