Re: AF cured by antibiotic?

I agree as already said - the Antibiotics could have killed an infection which possibly was what was keeping your adrenals from recovering.

Having read a lot of late regarding how infections/fungus/ parasites perpetually stress the sympathetic nervous system, eventually bringing down adrenal function - it's easy for us to harbour something of this kind without knowing - until we hit AF stage.
Of course, it will be hard for you to know for sure as the Antibiotics seem to have done their job - if you find the AF coming back - perhaps maybe your doctor can run some tests to rule out infection?

Or possibly being on the Antibiotics revved up your immune/stress response system - and you felt relief, despite the AF even the antibiotics could be a stressor - forcing cortisol production (if you're in exhaustive stage of AF) which would give you a 'boost' feeling...but it wouldn't last and could cause a later crash...which by now after 3 wks i would have thought you would have gone through already.
That scenario is all dependent on what stage of AF you're in - high or low cortisol?

It'll be more telling to see how you progress but as you haven't mentioned crashing, perhaps consider the possibility of chronic infection you didn't know you had being treated with the antibiotic.
