I will seriously suggest you to take consultations from some more dermatologists.
I personally consulted 3 dermatologists & finally sticked to the one whose explanation of my EC was most logical & intuitive & based on his own personal experience of seeing widespread topical steroid abuse among skin patients. So, therefore, topical steroids have to be used very carefully. Hence, i keep him periodically updated about my lip condition even if i am just leaving them alone for the moment.
