Re: HEART Palpitations...need some advice please
THanks everyone for the replies.
I cannot at this time get off of Seroquel. I have tried in the past and was in a bad place. I have no one to care for my 5 year old son in the meantime. Yes I have a feeling that is the culprit. 12 years on this med cannot be dropped overnight and right now I need sanity. Last time I attempted a withdrawal I had support of my dad and brother to care for my son as I could not!
Now I am on my own..single mom..(widowed) and I need to keep on it...It sucks.
I found magnesium citrate to help but I have to be careful. I took to much yesterday and had really loose stools today.
I have magnesium citrate powder from Swansons. I find it pretty effective.
I eat bananas daily and my pottasium is fine.
Honestly I think I need to be back on metformin er for insulin resistance brought on by the seroquel.
Yes I know all the bad stuff on drugs and one day I plan to get off this stuff when it is allowable.
Plus I just missed a period..which has not happened in awhile. I am about 20
pounds overweight in my eyes anyways. The smallest I have been over the years.
Added being on seroquel for years this only occurs every once in awhile honestly it is not every night. So I need to find out what is being depleted hear which I can imagine is magnesium.
If the stuff you put on your skin didnt make me itch I would give that another try.
Stress from all of the med changes....I dropped lamictal a month ago..and wellbutrin 2 weeks ago.
My body is not too happy right now. When I see my dr I am not doing anymore changes mainly because I am scared of what it will do to me mentally and physically.
I failed to mention I am on nicotine replacement. I am cutting that down. I noticed it more after the lozenges which have sucrolose then with the gum. I also cut down to the 2mg..and trying to cut down in general. Still better then cigarettes I quit in Nov.
Thanks everyone anymore pointers are welcomed. I appreciate all the help as I am still feeling blaugh.
Today after a workout at the gym...my legs were so wobbly and I was dizzy, and disoriented. This scared me a little. It was only 30 minutes on the bike.
Will Ashghwanda help any??? I cant take too many herbs I found out Rhodiola Rosea interacts with seroquel so I cant take that one.
