i got this after having a tca peel to my lips to remove forcyde spots a few months ago... i prematurely picked the skin off... so it is a clear cut case of being trauma related... how many have tried and stuck with a proper moist healing protocal? how many of those people have inflammation caused by trauma? how long have they had ec and picked their lips before starting this protocal? how long did they employ the treatment?... these are all variables we need to consider when determining past successes or failures with moist healing.
as for the quote he was basically saying there is more than one variable at play... you can get rid of inflammation with strong steroids... problem is that will probably not stop the peeling cycle... it can slow it down or stop it if you're lucky while you're on the steroid... but as soon as it is discontinued sypmtoms will probably reemerge because it's only the body itself that can restore balance... steroids can only help aid you there if used correctly... they're not the silver bullet.
