For the next time, please also also ask him why some areas may be raw while other areas peel. A dermatologist told me allergies can cause both raw and peeling skin on lips. But just wondering if skin that is always raw makes a difference in condition.

Oh yeah, he previously told you that the lips can't be healed if it is caused by inflammatory disease?
