Re: Candida, Bowel and Prostate Issues

I am also a former bodybuilder, so I know how you feel. I went from being the strongest guy in the room everywhere I went, to not being able to lift a box of groceries. Not a good feeling.

First off, probiotics alone are not strong enough to repopulate your gut flora. You need to be drinking homemade kefir everyday, and ideally homemade sauerkraut too. I just started making sauerkraut at home; it's surprisingly easier than you might think.

For the prostate in particular, a few things come to mind. First off, your prostate is probably all clogged with fatty waste and/or candida. Remember, the prostate is nothing but a spongy gland. It becomes clogged very easily, and this is how all prostate problems develop.

Apple cider vinegar, a tablespoon a few times a day, is well known to unclog the prostate. It is the perfect antidote for an oily clogged up prostate.

I also highly recommend you take d-mannose (antifungal sugar) to mop up any candida in your urinary tract. D-mannose is a must for anyone who's ever had candida-related problems with their bladder, prostate, etc.

Finally, it sounds as though you could benefit from some hands-on prostate massage to loosen up the congestion. Since I wasn't interested in sticking anything up my butt, I found the below device to be very helpful in massaging my prostate, although you have to start out gently at first when it's inflamed. Nowadays I still use it from time to time even though my prostate is in relatively good shape.

Also don't forget lots of vitamin C (5g-20g/day) to keep your body chemistry balanced in general.
