Multiple bowel movements after an enema

As a result of pain meds (Tylenol with codeine) after recent surgery I was severely constipated and ended up going to emergency for help with slidly impacted stool. They gave me an enema, which helped tremendously, but for the last 36 hours, I've had multiple small bowel movements (at least 20 times per day). Is this normal? If not, what should I do?
