Re: Treating Scarring Alopecia with Silver Water. Hair Growing Back.

This is very interesting to me and something I plan to try. I was diagnosed with the Scarring alopecia at 23 and as a woman I was horrified to think my hair would not grow back. I had pain, severe itching and hair loss when I first saw a dermatologist. I was treated with injections that elminated the pain and itching but it was a continual process with no guarantee when it came to hair regrowth. I was told it was usually permanent. After a year or so of pricey injections I stopped. I recieved a topical oniment should for itching and pain as need and occassionally visited the derm. for injections. It appears there is little new hairloss but no regrowth. I went to doctors to implant advise but with the type of alopecia and the fact that my hair is so thin and I have a large amount missing in the top and back of my head I wasn't a good candidate for that either. That was a bummer and very stressful because 7 years went by before I even decided to speak with someone new. I will be trying the Silver water and will keep a post on progress. I pray it works because if I have to buy too many more wigs or extensions I will scream.
