I was very surprised (and upset) to learn I still had a huge Ascaris in my colon after using supposedly correct medications for extended periods and passing many many worms... I thought I was "cured".... either I was reinfected, eggs that I never got hatched or the big she devil never died during the treatment .... it was huge so I don't know how long it had been there... but obviously for quite some time........... since then life has been hell with larval migration and now some worms to other parts of my body. The meds work, there is no doubt, but some worms seem to get away, hide from the medications (they're very good at that) and there are always plenty of eggs left behind if you don't kill them all. Keep on top of it, that's for sure. x
