You want to control the current going to your silver anode, and the size of that anode will determine the current rating. A basic circuit of a CLD(Current Limiting Diode) and 4-9V batteries and a silver anode and a cathode and glass jar & distilled water. Controlling the current will help keep the particule size down and prevent current run-away.
