-Nope; Aurum met only work if you have the symptoms; like if you took to much gold leaf; you could develop a deep depression, a heaviness of a different world. The limit of taking to much differ.

Aurum met is kind of the opposite of gold; it is depression, suicide thoughts, heaviness, deep pains; Arthritis etc.
-The back side of gold, so to speak. A deficiency of gold MAY bring forth the very same symptoms, IMO

-maybe; this is interesting. But I never heard this among the homeopaths I know of.

In general homeopatics are not used enough as a prophylaxis.
I also believe there is something here; take the element in physical form to prevent issues to develop.

Kind of vaccine, except for the additives, and except for forcing it into the blood stream.
