Re: Looks like it really might be all in my head. Neurological issues coming into play
I agree with Paulette that documenting what you ate - suppelements - drinks even - while it's fresh in your memory helps you see potential causations down the line.
Interesting that it happened just after eating. Would have been intriguing to know your temp when you were experiencing this.
It's a good idea to get a scan to rule-out anything neurological.
I had a similar sudden nausea, fatigue, head-filling, head pain, stomach-turning and also groin pain with vomiting, flushing very hot then a minute later shivering, after which i collapsed and my vision, speech changed considerably. I lay there for an hour waiting for it to roll out of me - had no idea what happened....finally i 'came to' and felt normal.
My temp went down to 34.5C during this.
I charted it and worked out that it hit directly at ovulation time.
(I've also had this type of collapse episode occur just before period flow)
I'm still trying to figure out what the implications of a spike in Leutenizing Hormone has on adrenal function and hypothyroid. The episode felt like another adrenal crash.
So is ovulation a possibility? Where are you at in your cycle if you're cycling?
Seems very strange it would hit out of the blue after a usual meal, with, as you say - you feeling like you've improved adrenal function.
I really hope you are feeling better to have a lovely birthday evening after the hospital visit Faith!
Hugs :-)
