You guys say "moisture allows the buildup to come off easily" like its a bad thing! The whole point is to cause as LITTLE trauma as possible. While leaving them alone when the scabs come off prematurely, which they WILL undoubtedly, that just causes more trauma.

Everyone assumes that just because the scabs come off earlier with moisture its bad. And that keeping the scabs on for longer is best. WRONG! Read up about wound healing. Scabs are NOT GOOD for wound healing.

You should DEFINITELY try this. I have been doing it for about 6 weeks now and my peeling is almost gone! Just use vaseline and leave them alone. But dont panic when they come off. They are supposed to! Its called EXFOLIATIVE cheilitis. It exfoliates. And having it exfoliate easier is much better than having it exfoliate with a bunch of trauma.

Dont listen to this dude above me. If you want to live with crusts on your lips for 3 years then be my guest. But we have proven that it takes a LONG ASS time for that method. If it even works, which I am still not convinced. We have only read of ONE person who got better and it took him 3-4 years. Have fun with that. Tweet
