he seems optomistic it will heal fairly soon because it's not all that bad (relatively speaking) and i havent had it for long... as long as i follow his instructions... so he wants me to use the desonide until it heals... however long that is... i agree you should stick to your treatment protocal if its working... may want to give desonide a shot if inflammation persists... i think with most steroids you can tell pretty quick if it's helpful or not based on the way your lips feel after you use it...contrary to what that online derm said (which i started a topic on), i would not use a product that felt like it was irritating my lips because i think it's counterproductive... the desonide feels good, some other steroids i've tried did not... now that i'm wetting my lips first and using small quantities, the vaseline feels good too... my lips felt like shit after i manually exfoliated them for new years so i will never make that mistake again... they looked like shit too and started building up fast... but the last couple days they are looking and feeling better.
