Although I don't use lugol's, here's what keeps me warm and full of energy whether my body likes it or not :)
Before bed, after a meal:
selenomethionine - 200 mcg
super mag instant - spoonful in water (mag + vit C)
boron - 3 mg
calcifood - 1 chewable tablet (100mg calcium)
any good RAW multivitamin - 1 pill/powder
After waking up:
SSKI - in water, away from food, a few drops
methylcobalamin - 5 to 8 drops in liquid form
For food, carbs - every meal with meats, sometimes veggies, fruits... individual diets may vary, but avoid any foods that depress the metabolism as much as possible.
PS: Exercise helps a lot, or at least moving the body a lot in some way, even walking.
