Haven't read it, but it does look good. Scanned it, just now. I agree that Water Fasting can be a prime way to break addictions.
I would think it's a very good way to break the soda pop habit. I recall one water faster doing that; then trying a taste of it, after, and being turned off for good. At least that was the report. You might try a forum search on diet coke, soda pop addiction, etc. and come up with a few posts.
