Re: shud i continue to pull???

Should you continue oil pulling? Absolutely yes. As adults gum health is far more important a factor than tooth decay for maintaining oral health.

Will oil pulling stop tooth decay in it's tracks? Not by itself just as toothbrushing won't either without proper diet, nutrition and the other usual factors. Will it help? Absolutely. Plaque will be loosened, harmful mouth bacteria removed, gums strengthened, etc etc.

Nobody here can really advise you about whether to pull the teeth or not. I can tell you that oil pulling has either bought you time with the decision or is continuing to do so. However if your teeth are seriously loose even with steady oil pulling, it's very possible they're past the point of saving.

The problem with oil pulling is that as powerful as it is, dentists are uneducated about it and can't give you realistic advise either. So you're stuck between trusting dentists who opt for the most invasive treatments first (since they're how they keep the doors open) and over-relying on oil pulling to be a cure all. Teeth CAN have a domino effect where the rotten ones take their toll on the healthy ones. So you have to keep that in mind too.

None of us (I don't think) can give you a real answer on the decision about your four bad teeth. In general, though, there's simply nothing healthier you can do for your teeth and gums than oil pulling, so keep it up with whatever else you're doing.

Personally whenever I have needed to involve a dentist, I tend to do the minimum that's necessary at the time since they're completely ignorant of what can be achieved with oil pulling and other means over time.

Good luck!
