I got both Egaten (triclabendazole) and also(Praziquentel, think it was the Distocide brand). I actually believe I had two types of flukes so I took both to make sure. Flukes are nasty buggers and it is a war to get rid of them for good. So, I would advise herbals as a general upkeep after taking the meds. If there is even one egg left behind the whole re-infection can happen very quickly. I believe it usually takes four months for the egg to become a mature fluke. It is worse than having lice.
