Re: Problems taking L-Glutamine! Don't know what to do!
Hi acrossthe veil,
Maybe you are looking in the wrong direction withammonia. from my experience and readings glutamine indeed helps leaky gut and nourish the lining BUT in some cases can feed some patogens like bacteria or even candida.
my understanding is also that everyhting is easy to be eaten like flour/powder is easily to be eaten also by other guyr than your gut.
I have similar problem with glutamine - I use to take it with great success before I developed candida and bacterial overgrowth. but not anymore...it makes my gut "mushy" and have nausea, allergies you name it.
the same thing happened with aloe vera. It contains polysacharides and if you have SIBO / bacteria for example is a big NO NO. Aloe makes me worst.
what i learned form here is not everything is recommended is usefull for ME. some use to recommend me coconut flour as being ok for candida. for me is not.so you are not alone :) chill out and test yourself.
you could take that in consideration.
