Re: Could water-fasting be a treatment for hemochromatosis?

I have a neighbor with hemochromatosis. He goes to the V.A.Hospital every few weeks to get "drained" The disease has done a lot of damage to his joints. I don't know if fasting will help or not. Have your doctors given you any advice on diet? Instinct tells me drinking distilled water might help leach excessive iron from your system. If you decide to fast be sure to moniter how you feel day by day. Start slowly and be careful. What kind of treatment are you getting now?
