There is a 6 second gap. Even if you use the scientific speed limits we place on things that's a huge distance information is traveling to create such latency. We're not talking simply being nano seconds behind.

This delay proves we're also not talking about chemical autonomic response, it's a carefully considered decision that a person thinks they're in full control over the outcome on. Everyone who does this test thinks they can trick the system by making a snap judgement at the last minute, but they're still ~6 seconds behind their body.

I'll say it again. 6 seconds. Try pinging the other side of the world using cabled electrical impulses via the internet. Worst case scenario is still only fractions of a second to get there.
