Re: Yogi...

I just know my own personal experience when I was trying to get into a Preaching Ministry. My Pastor allowed me time for preaching and prayer. I learned very quickly that I didn't have it......WY

The great news is that you don't have to have it. In fact, those ministers that can do it on their own strength are more likely to lead us astray because they do not have to rely on the Lord to do it through them. If you have been called by God to be a minister you need to seek Him to do what He wants in your life by His power and might and not by your own strength and abilities. Moses didn't have it either, but look how great he turned out to be.

Many who have felt the call of God for ministry prepared for that and failed because they could not do it on their own strength. They were just too lazy spiritually to seek God for what they really needed to prepare. Many can go to school and study scripture, but the most important preparation is sitting at the feet of Jesus and learning of Him. It is attaining your own personal intimacy and closeness to Jesus. If that is not done one will fail unless he has natural abilities. I do not trust the ministers who are doing it out of their natural abilities. It just somehow does not seem like the real thing. The real power of God must come straight from God and not natural ability.
