I have been exposed to mold on a long term basis. I had symptoms of fatigue, tremors, forgetfulness, headaches etc...I started doing research on the internet and calling microbiologist and research scientist. I was informed about EHAP Labs and took a mycotoxin and FID urine test. FID is fungal identification test, this way you can link this Identification, if you get a sample from the exposure site. EHAP Labs has a website. Just google EHAP Labs. You do not need a doctor for this. Also, you may need an attorney for personal injury and toxic mold tort. I took the mycotoxin urine test and FID test and came back positive. I went to The Mold Treatment Center of America in Alpharetta Georgia on Nov. 21st, 2012 and got treated and evaluated.They have a website also. It did cost me out of pocket, because it is out of contract with insurance company.The visit to MTCA was well worth it! I have spent a small fortune on this, but I have contacted an attorney. I believe this exposure came from the work place, since they are doing mold remediation. An attorney will not charge you a fee. He/She must win the case to receive any monies.A lot of the attorneys have free consultation. You need to get on workmans comp, so that you can be treated properly. Workman's Comp. will have to pay your medical bills. Family doctors are not taught about mold and or mycotoxins in Med. School. Even some of the Environmental Medicine physicians are not knowledgable about mycotoxins.I visited several physicians and they thought I was crazy when I mentioned the mold exposure and mycotoxins.I have loss some of my cognition and will be lucky if i get 50% back. I truly believe it is a Sin for the Banks to send in the contracters to clean these Foreclosed Homes. This is an understatement, I cannot find strong enough words.
