6 months post removal still suffering

Hi all, so glad I found this website as it seems more active than others. I'm six months post removal. Had Mirena from Jan 2011 to April 2012. Symptoms from it are in order of gravity/concern:depression, suicidal thoughts, insomnia, HBP, anxiety, hair loss, brain fog, abnormal hair growth, & greasy hair. These are my facts and not exagerations. I had the crash in June 2012, started 1week before my period & lasted about 10 days after with various symptom, which were depression, anxiety & insomnia. I seemed to have setbacks every time my period came. 1 week before & 1week after . After August things were looking up & thought I was on my way to recovery. this past Oct 31 I got my period & symptoms came back, this is 6 months after removal!!!! Will it get better? I'm so down about my situation. My recurring symptom is insomnia with mild blah feelings. went to the doctor for help & they only seem to believe I might be peri menopausal. Their solution is ant-depressants or some type of hormone replacement therapy or the pill. Which I was surprised she mentioned since I'm 42. I don't want either option. I truly believe in my gut that Mirena has screwed up my whole body. I was fit and healthy prior to all this. Please if anyone has any advice or reccomendation for a dr that actually believes in these side effects, I would much appreciate it. Live in San Jose, Ca
