Re: Urine as a beauty product

Not having had personal experience with this, I can however say that drinking urine the morning balances hormones, which play a big role in all kinds of things, including acne.

What I have heard is women rinsing their race in urine, and leaving it on for about 20 minutes, then taking shower. So it's a relatively short treatment. Some do not wash it off, but still, the amount used is not a lot.

It sounds like you are using soaked cotton pads and keeping them on for quite a while. It's possible that you are provoking the skin to get rid of toxins that are deeper down.

When dealing with an open wound, fresh urine is used. For closed wounds, aged urine is preferred. I would continue to treat as you are doing now, and trust that whatever happens with these new outbursts, it will not leave a scar because you are treating with urine. Urine should also diminish the scars that you have on your skin with time.

If you haven't already, I'd look into a whole foods diet and find out if you have food sensitivities , as these can manifest in symptoms such as acne. Many people today have gluten sensitivity, because of the way that wheat has been modified in the last two decades to contain a lot more gluten. I like the book "Nourishing Traditions" for food basics. Also, curezone has a lot of info on healing the gut, considered by many practitioners as the place to start when healing any long-standing illness or disorder.

I hope this info helps. It's good that you're looking into alternative approaches to your skin issues. I've read on forums where women dealing with Acne compared their results from using creams and Antibiotics to results when they changed their diet and healed their gut, and the latter was definitely preferred.
