Regarding rebalancing gut flora, I gather that ThreeLac is a somewhat controversial supplement, however others believe it to be beneficial for them. While supplementing is helpful in extreme cases, I believe adapting our diet is arguably more effective in the long run. Eating a broad range of vegetables, and perhaps adding natural probiotic sources such as yoghurt, sauerkraut, miso, kimchee, kefir, etc. should help to create the right environment for beneficial bacteria to repopulate.
