How can I aquire Hydrocortisone? Prescription?

I am a young individual who has just come down with Adrenal Fatigue, or rather it was recently identified.
I am convinced that hydrocortisone is the key to my recovery. And even though I have scheduled an appointment with an endocrinologist, I feel that I must try the effects of this bioidentical hormone as soon as I can (in a mild dosage).
I am not very savvy yet in the medical environment of someone with AF, but I'm assuming you need a prescription. I want to know, is there a way to get it without a prescription, even if the doctors may not like it? Or is there at least an easy way to get the prescription?

You know the place this friggin fatigue puts you in.
