Re: Constant moisture theory
Im going to alter my treatment a bit.
At first I thought that since the Bionect didnt make my crusts fall off that was a good thing.
But then i realized that it was kind of going against the whole "keeping moist" treatment.
The reason that the crusts werent coming off is because this Bionect isnt penetrating the buildup like other moisturizers do. So essentially its just like doing the "leave it alone theory". The crusts form and then the Bionect cant penetrate them, thus the skin underneath cant be moisturized.
So Im going to get a moisturizer that wont allow the big crusts to form, and use it along with the Bionect.
When we use products on our lips, like Vaseline, this causes the buildup to come off quicker, which we all assumed is bad because it may be causing more trauma.
But the truth is when I keep them dry and the big crusts form, its impossible to not have parts of them peel too early AT SOME POINT. And when they do its causing a lot more trauma than when that small skin-like buildup sheds off easily, when using moisturizers.
I just think it causes much less trauma when that skin-like build up easily sheds off, as opposed to those big crusts tearing off. Whenever those big crusts comes off the lip underneath is all red and raw. But when its moisturized the skin underneath is much less irritated.
And it will heal faster when under moisture and with the assistance of this Bionect.
Im thinking about using that Ictyane H.D. that singh posted about. It seems to be a good moisturizer.
