Re: surgery results

thank you all for your posts, just responding. First of all pics I do not have sorry I have never wanted to take a pic of my lips, they pretty much look the same, most people tell me they can't tell I have a problem which kind of irritates me because my lips are red, swollen and hurt. The diet thing I was curious about because I also have Fibromyalgia and a new problem with adult Acne which is alot worse now then when I was younger, I am 38. I do not have a great diet and I eat alot of sugar, I thought about an anti inflammatory diet, but I haven't been able to do that yet mostly because I don't quite think that is my problem, I think that I got EC from a time period of stress/ Depression along with a weak immune system and I believe that it flared up 10 years later for the same reason. As I said I did have this 10 years ago, not as bad but it mostly went away by itself, this time I have it much worse and it is chronic-meaning I've had it over 1 year, almost 2 years, I think that if it was allergy/food related it wouldn't have got much better for a long time and then get worse again? I just feel that the skin is so damaged that eating differently would not make a difference, however I'm not positive or it could take a very long time to make a difference. As far as healing, my pain is alot worse than it was, I know I am not totally healed, the surgeon said that I would be in a couple of weeks, but I read that it can take several weeks or months. I am going to do surgery again because I still feel if she can get out more of the damaged skin it should help somewhat, I believe it cured the corners of my lips the first time its just still bad in the middle/inside. I figured I would do it sooner than later since I still have alot of pain now anyways, then I can go through the healing. After 2-3 weeks you can not tell that you had surgery and as far as the pain, I still think I have an infection so I am going to my PC doc because the pain has been getting worse, it was actually better 1-2 weeks ago
