Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I absolutely agree.
During your worst most anxious and desperate times, the last thing you want to be hearing is that you have to cough up a bunch of money and stick to a plan you are unsure of, or else you have no hope and will slowly wither away. Like there is no point of taking any other avenues.
Don't be fooled. These people KNOW that they might not be able to help, and yet they still make it seem like they are the ONLY way. It is sad.
Dr. Lam promotes his counseling and his supplements, and subtly states at the end of his articles that if we "self navigate" - we will only get worse.
Dr. Larry Wilson promotes his Nutritional Balancing program - where we overdose on all of these nutrients - and ONLY in that way will we eventually get out of the 4 lows pattern and balance all of our ratios. And we are all in deep exhaustive states and have to buy his supplements monthly for up to 10 years!!! Or else we will keep crashing.
I don't believe it. From my experience, there is a deep underlying stressor in our body which needs to be taken out. And while we attempt to annihalate that stressor - we need to somehow SUPPORT the adrenals. Once we take out the stressor - only then can the body stabilize itself - along with the help of maybe some nutrients essential to the adrenals.
Those programs don't work because we are essentially just making ourselves worse by stimulating our adrenals only for them to keep crashing.(Because the stressor is still there) But if during this time we are actively taking out the stressor - eventually those programs won't just keep making us crash - but will start to work to actually build them up.
I never give in to any program that states "it's either my way or the highway". And it is very sad and obnoxious to have these "pioneers" prey on our desperation.
