Intermittent fasting: a dramatic change in view

Hi all,

I thought this was interesting. Dr. Mercola, whose newsletter I sometimes read, has changed his position on fasting. Used to be that he was among those repeating that breakfast is the most important meal of the day... And I think he was actually against water fasting. But as he now says, "I'm always learning". :-) IF CAN be very helpful. I feel it's especially suitable to older people. (Like myself, those over 50) And perhaps, those of us who never wanted to eat breakfast, say, and were strong-armed into it, for years.

It's been pretty much my standard, for more than a year now, to eat one meal a day, or within a five hour window. My two longish Water Fasts (29, 21 days) of a few years ago totally reset my way of thinking.
