can msm cause psoriasis flare up?

Good Morning, Ive had 'psoriasis' and 'psoriatic' nails and asthma since I was 5. I started taking ACV every day as well as done 2 Liver Flushes and parasite cleanses and that really seems to help with the inflamation part. However, I recently (within the past 3 months) added MSM. When I began taking this I was having strong herx reaction, but since my recent parasite cleanse I was able to double the MSM dose before noticing any herx reaction. So now taking 3/4 tsp 2 times per day for 7 days then break for 3 days.

Since 1 month into the MSM have found that by day 2 or 3 back on the MSM my Psoriasis gets more itchy and builds plaque. Then, when I break for the 3 days it clears progressively better than the previous break.

My question is, why? My best guess is that while I am taking it, it starts attacking whatever the root problem is, thus causing a herx reaction (psoriatic flare up )

Also, interestingly, I have had huge relief from my asthma, but not sure if its related to MSM, other supplements I have added recently (lysine, Colloidal Silver , betacarotine), or some combination of the above. But while my asthmatic wheezing and coughing has subsided I am now coughing up green to yellowish thick mucous while taking the MSM. Which is another reason why I am guessing the MSM is causing a bit of a herx effect. Because my asthmatic wheezing and cough returns when I break from the MSM, my Psoriasis clears significantly. Tweet
