I have not used sodium ascorbate to make the liposomal C. But I do add baking soda to my ascorbic acid and that seems to me to be like sodium ascorbate.
I have used the powder form of both sodium ascorbate and ascorbic acid over the years and I cannot tell any difference in the effectiveness of either. I do not care much for the sour taste of ascorbic acid but I do have plenty because of a 2 for l sale at a shop closing recently. Frankly I will be glad when I run out of it.
I truly believe you will get just as good of a product by using the sodium ascorbate.
