Just started GAPS diet and don't think I can do this.

Ok I will say this,I am on new probiotics and a natural digestive help (Gastro ULC and HMF Neuro) and my reflux, which I had to be on Pepcid for is way better (got me off the Pepcid). I also gave up grains, which not sure assisted in helping the reflux, but it was at the same time. I have been GF for a while now. Anyway, first of, the prep for the diet is a major pain in the a$$ and expensive. I had to buy a whole organic chicken which cost me $15! We try to eat organic whenever possible, but hell, my husband is out of work and we can't afford to pay that much for just me.

So I made the broth today with beef and while I didn't have high expectations, God, it was so bland and I just wanted to cry. A minimum of two years of this?! It tasted awful to me. I don't know what to do. I know this diet has helped a lot of people, but I can't eat this way for the rest of my life, which is sort of what they hint at. That being said, I don't know which way to turn anymore. My reflux has gotten so horrendous and my bloating, gas, muscle and joint pain, and a host of other related issues has me at my wits end. Trust me, I'm an old timer here and have tried nearly everything out there to cure my leaky gut, get the candida under control and the host of other health problems I have. I've been dealing with this for at least 17 years now and if after all my trials and errors nothing has helped, then what the hell am I supposed to do?! I'm tired of going through die-off, only to get nowhere, spending 1000's of dollars we don't have, and all for nothing. I'm so f'ing tired of all of this and I just want to be and feel normal again.
