Yea that's the Hyaluronic Acid. The product is called "Bionect". It contains Hyaluronic Acid, sodium salt and a few other ingredients. I assume the sodium salt contributes to preventing infections etc. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

It's great. Your son should definitely try it. I have always believed this is a trauma related condition for myself, because I KNOW I got it after I was excessively biting my lips, and have been biting for years. Then all of the doctors telling me impossible sort of deterred that thought for awhile.

But since talking to this derm., who has seen this condition, I feel as though its a real possibility and I have never been more optimistic about a treatment. Tweet
