I think we will definitely try the HA - I have heard good things about it - and Steiglitz - thats too bad the Epiceram didn't work for you - not sure whether to try that or not - we need to see what the derm will say.

Steglitz - did you do Zyclara? Did it help at all?

I am starting to think that this is so difficult to cure, maybe we should look at just making it manageable to live with. If there are things that make it better and you can go on with your life - that may be the way to go - but am still hoping for a cure that works for everyone!

BTW - my son did the Vitamin C paste - at first he thought it was helping but after a couple of weeks he said he doesn't think it made much of a difference unfortunately.

steglitz you sure you have ec??? i mean dont the creams make your lips look good even while your useing them? or do you not see any progress at all???

can i ask you some question- firstly with this cream does your lips were the ec affected aerea just kinda fall off and become raw every morning when you brush your teeth? for me i find mostly everything i put on them makes the skin just fall off when i rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. i dont even put any water on it when im in the shower. i just very gently rinse them in the mornign and at night after washing my teeth. also do you get a little bit of tooth paste on your lips when you brush? i always do i cant seem to not do and im wondering if you reckon this matters??? i mean every normal person when they brush there teeth get a bit of ttoth paste on there lips and its no big deal they just rinse it under the tap and get on with it. im finding when my skin grows over the ec area its not strong enough to just stay on there it just kinda evaporates every morning. i dont know if this is a good thing or what. i pressume not becasue it just reveils the lips on there lowest layer of skin. but i pressume it doesnt matter becasue lets face it if they do ever come back to normal the skin should hold strong and be fexible and stretchy.

thats what i was going to ask ihopethishelps. but he said his lips havent peeled in 10 days so i pressume that means there back to full strength.

becasue my lips look like his now but i wouldnt say my skin peels off anymore its weird all it does is become really raw. i now lick my lips for about 2 minutes before i apply my cream it makes the lips feel better. i dont think licking lips is a problem everybody does it everyday. obviously licking them alot is bad but 2 or 3 times a day is normal in my opinion.
