21 day fast
Ok this is my 3rd attempt at a 21 day fast. First one was in January, dropped 20 lbs and lowered my BP. Only issues is I made it only 17 days. 2nd attempt made it 10 days only. So, on this one at day 9 I lost will or sick of the intense hunger pains (they never go away, won't say hunger pains but stomach pains) I ate some avocado with lemon juice and some slices of peppers. For me, even on my 17 day fast I always felt stomach discomfort. Never goes away which I thought would happen.
So now, day 10, I have resumed the fast. Metallic taste has already returned. I'm trying to just continue, looking at the fail as a bump in the road. What effect will this have on the fast? Is it a waste of time to pickup again or should I just try again later?
FYI I have lost almost all my belly fast during these three fasts, BP is around 117/72 down from originally pushing 160/95. I am 54 yrs old, weight training for the past 30+ years and down to 147 lbs from 189 the beginning of my first fast. I am doing this for my Blood Pressure mostly. We have also adopted a 98% vegetable diet.
Looking for support. I understand all the benefits and experienced great results. Just disappointed I keep failing short of my goal. Thanks
