Re: Persistent white tongue for the last three months, tested negative for HIV
Thanks everyone for your comments.
I've got most of my results and to my surprise, my doctor tested for yeast (oral swab) and it came back negative. I probably will repeat the test because my tongue is still white and the result might be a false negative.
In the other hand, some other bacteries were found in my tongue (wonder if those can cause this persistent problems for more than 3 months?). This is the summary of the tests I've done last week (more are on the way) more than 7 months since the sexua| incident:
Serum
--- HIV 1/2 Vironostika Uniform Ag/Ab -- Negative
Oral swab (tongue)
---Haemophilus influenzae -- Positive
---Escherichia coli -- Positive
---Enterobacter sp. -- Positive
---Yeast -- Negative (!)
Blood test
---ASLO... <51.90 IU/ml (cut-off:< 200) -- Negative
---CRP.... <3.45 mg/l (cut-off:<=5) -- Negative
---RF..... <10.10 IU/ml (cut-off:< 15) -- Negative
Semen sample
---Enterococcus faecalis -- Positive
---Yeast -- Negative
---Gonhorrea -- Negative
---M.hominis -- Negative
---U.urealyticum -- Negative
Stool sample
---Yeast -- Negative
Because I lost weight because a mild candida diet I started about two months ago (cooking with coconut oil, no breads, etc.) and because I didn't see much improvement, I have started to eat normally since about 3 weeks ago. I don't know if it's a good idea.
I will try the garlic pills as someone adviced (Thanks!) and will continue using acidophilus pills.
Thanks a lot @candisufferer for your very informative post!
